BCW's Elimination Chamber Predictions

The road to Wrestlemania continues with the first PPV since the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber.  I've mixed emotions about this up coming Elimination Chamber event, as to be perfectly honest, I'm not really invested in any of the storylines and some of the matches almost feel pointless as we already know certain performers pretty much guaranteed to still be champion heading into Wrestlemania.  That is unless WWE are pulling the ultimate swerve and are planning on putting the Raw Women's Championship on Ruby Riott, for her to headline Wrestlemania, but I guess we all know that's not going to happen!

Any way to get in the spirit of all things Elimination Chamber, I have decided give my predictions, even though this is possibly the most predictable PPV of the year!  But hey, you can only play the hand you're dealt!  Thus, to make things a bit more interesting I've thrown in the odd curve ball for good measure.....

BIG CULT WRESTLING'S PREDICTIONS:

Cruiserweight Championship Match
Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Akira Tozawa

BCW Predicts: Murphy retains

Notes:  I just feel if the title was going to change hands before Wrestlemania, it would have happened at Royal Rumble in the fatal 4 way match.

Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin  

BCW Predicts:: Strowman wins

Notes: I'd be very surprised if WWE didn't start the ball rolling on another strong Strowman push in the run in to Wrestlemania.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match
The Miz & Shane McMahon (c) vs. The Uso's

BCW Predicts: Miz & Shane retain

Notes:  I did initially think The Uso's would take the titles here setting up a feud between Shane and Miz for Wrestlemania, but after Jimmy Uso's recent run in with the law I can't see a title switch at Elimination Chamber, however I do expect some shenanigans and a little seed to be planted, that will ultimately result in a split for Miz & Shane in the coming weeks, setting up a match between the 2 at Wrestlemania.

Intercontinental Championship Handicap Match
Bobby Lashley (c) & Lio Rush vs. Finn Balor

BCW Predicts: Balor wins the title

Notes:  I think Balor will get the victory, but over Lio Rush, and not Lashley.  Thus leaving the door open for a rematch as Lashley wasn't the one defeated.

Raw Women's Championship Match
Rousey (c) vs. Ruby Riott

BCW Predicts: Rousey retains

Notes: Expect interference from the rest of the Riott Squad, plus with Charlotte at ringside it's almost certain Becky Lynch will get involved to trigger her inclusion in the Wrestlemania main event making it a triple threat.

Women's Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber Match
Nia Jax & Tamina vs. Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville vs. The IIconics vs. Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Naomi & Carmella

BCW Predicts: Nia & Tamina win the titles

Notes:  I predict a swerve here, Nia & Tamina will come out on top and build upon Nia's already molten heat, setting up a showdown that will ultimately crown Sasha & Bayley as new champions at Wrestlemania.

WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match
Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jeff Hardy

BCW Predicts: Bryan retains

Notes:  If the rumours are to be believed expect a return from Bray Wyatt in the closing stages to screw someone out of the title setting up a Wrestlemania feud, however I'd be very surprised if he cost Bryan the championship, as he's pretty much nailed on to carry the Hemp Belt into Wrestlemania!
